Mungo, we have a problem

You may have heard a little about Katie's friend Mungo. Well here are a few pictures to show their special relationship.








Unfortunately they have grown so fond of each other that Katie won't sleep without him. This causes us a problem because Mungo is too big to carry with us when Katie goes out.

We are trying to wean them off each other during the day, but this is proving a little tricky. Are we being too harsh and expecting too much from these little people who are so in love?

What a week!

We've had a tough time in the Pearson house. Katie was poorly for 7 days, but on the 6th day, Debbie caught the same bug and was poorly for 5 days. On her 4th day Katie was sick again. Both have been off their food and drink and just been a bit sad. There's been quite a lot of cleaning up to do (!) and our washing machine has never seen so much action.

Just as Katie was back to her adorable bubbly self, she became a cranky girl who just wanted to be cuddled - why? A tooth! So again, off her food, won't sleep, won't drink. We're a bit worn-out.

Spring cleaning

Katie has been poorly sick this weekend. From what we've seen and heard, most babies are sick now and again, but we've been quite blessed with Katie because so far she hasn't been that ill, but she certainly made up for it this weekend. She obviously felt the need for a detox and so has been emptying the contents of her tummy in quite impressive actions from both ends! Neither of us have ever seen anything like it. Where does it all come from?

Obviously we havn't got any photos of poorly Katie, so here are a couple taken a few days before on her 8 month birthday.
