Crawling and falling

Well Katie is 11 months old today and she is developing new skills.

This week crawling has definitely advanced, along with climbing - up the tv, table, chairs, sofa, bath, pretty much anything she can get a grip of. She's a determined little soul. At nursery they now have to put Katie to sleep in the travel cot because she insists on climbing up the bars, then standing and waving at everyone, instead of sleeping.

We are trying our best to prevent any major accidents, but we've already had lots of minor ones. Today at nursery she climbed up the dinner table, fell and bumped her cheek, and earlier this week she bumped her head a number of times as she tried to get around.

Times are changing; she's growing up.
