Urgh, wassat?

Now this isn't an unusual question from Katie, she is often finding the smallest of crumbs or a passing ant and asking what it is. So today when she held her finger in my face and asked the question it was no shock.

However, on inspecting the item on the end of her finger, I was unsure of its identity and so I asked Katie where did she find it. Her reply....
