Oxo anyone?
As most of you know we tend not to give Katie much chocolate. However, thanks to others she seems to know a lot about it (you know who you are grandads!)
She seems to think that anything in shiny paper is chocolate or as she would say "toklate". You can imagine her delight when she found a box of Oxo cubes :-)
She didn't seem to believe us when we said it wasn't, so we opened a square, and of course it's brown! This added weight to her argument, not ours. So we went one step further and got her to try a bit to see how disgusting it was. Her response...
"tasty"
Is the taste of chocolate just mind over matter?

The answer to that is no! Gabe was tugging on my leg last night while I was preparing dinner...so I offered him some red pepper -"No" he says. So I offer him some mushroom "No" again, in the end I figure he can wait. So he reaches up grabs a peeled potatoe (I have to admit I saw the hand going there and I let him take it). He bit right into it before realising this thing tastes disgusting! I just had to laugh as he howled in horror and spat it out -I'm not cruel though I gave him a cracker in the end!
Well it is tasty.
In the war it was all they had for sweets - so my Mum tells me.
